77 Annual Report 2023 馬會廂房 Jockey Club Boxes 本會長期租用香港賽馬會沙田馬場及快活谷馬場廂房，供會友觀賞賽馬。會友使用廂房，須先預購廂房 馬牌。馬牌分全年馬季使用及一次使用兩種。「中華游樂會挑戰盃賽」於1971年1月23日在跑馬地馬場 首次舉行，此後即成為每年一度的賽事。 2023年度「中華游樂會挑戰盃賽」已於9月17日假沙田馬場順利舉行。這場賽事安排在當日第八場 舉行，賽事最後由馬匹「我為您」取得冠軍，賽事結束後，由本會主席林詩鍵先生及值理龐寵醴先生 主持頒獎禮，將挑戰盃頒發予馬主丁永強先生及夫人。練馬師為伍鵬志，騎師為鍾易禮。 The Club rents boxes at the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Sha Tin Racecourse and Happy Valley Racecourse on a long-term basis for members to enjoy horse racing. Members must purchase a horse badge in advance to use the boxes. There are two types of horse badge: one for the entire race season, and the other for single race meets. The Happy Valley Racecourse has been the venue of the annual Chinese Recreation Club Challenge Cup since its debut on 23 January 1971. The Chinese Recreation Club Challenge Cup was held successfully on 17th September 2023 at the Sha Tin Racecourse. The event was scheduled for the eighth race of the day, and “I GIVE”won the championship. After the race, CRC Chairman Mr Kenneth Lam and committee member Mr Jeremy Pong presented the cup to Mr & Mrs Ting Wing Keung. The horse trainer was Pierre Ng Pang Chi, and the jockey was Angus Chung Yik-lai. 康樂遊藝 Recreation and Social 本會康樂遊藝部舉辦的活動及年度中秋賞月聯歡晚會廣受會友歡迎，但由於中秋大坑舞火龍活動封路 的安排，2023年中秋晚會未能如期舉行。康樂遊藝部於2023年12月25日舉辦聖誕兒童聯歡會2023， 吸引了超過200位會友及來賓參與。 The outings and annual Mid-Autumn Festival MoonWatching Party organised by our Recreation and Social Sub-committee are always well received by members. However, due to the special traffic arrangements made for the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance that was held during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the CRC’s 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival Moon Watching Party had to be cancelled.The Sub-committee also held a Christmas children’s party on 25 December 2023, which attracted more than 200 members and guests. 音樂室 Music Room 開放給會友使用的音樂室地方寬敞，大房可容納30人，設有80吋大電視。另設細房，每天分節供會友 租用。 The Club’s spacious music rooms, including one featuring an 80-inch TV, can accommodate up to 30 people. There are also smaller rooms for rent at a session rate.
